I have been to many rib houses before and I can definitely say that this was by far the best I've ever visited. The ribs were amazing. The meat literally fell off the bones. The staff was also amazing. We were seated as soon as we stepped foot in the restaurant and had our food within 15 minutes. Best service I've ever had and best ribs. Will definitely come here again!!!
Beautiful restaurant centrally located to all sorts of fun stuff. Excellent staff and great ribs! The crab cakes were big, not a lot of filler and great value. Drinks aren’t watered down. I will be going back soon.
We ordered food to go and the service and food was spectacular! When we came through the door we were immediately greeted and helped. Most places would send you to the bar to pick up carry out but at Nick's the hostess pleasantly and promptly helped us with our order. She then proceeded to go through our bag show us that our order was complete. It took less than a minute but most places would not take the time. They do the little things right and they have a customer for life!
this place has gotten way too expensive. I got a glass of beer at the bar, local micro brew and it was $8.75. ribs are still very good but are now smaller. For a family of 4 it is way to expensive. Half a rack of ribs is over $20. Much better places to go in Ocean City where they don't gouge you so much for a meal. Coleslaw used to be creamy and delicious, now is tasteless, owl of soup is actually only a cup full, but in what looks like a bowl (and cost is $10). French fries are basically a baked potato cut into strips. This used to be one of our favorite places. it will now be our last time there.
Service was prompt and friendly. Decent atmosphere. The food was a bit under whelming yet not terrible. The ribs were good, very tender, with good smokey flavor. As ribs go, I give them a 7 out of 10. However, the steaks were very poor quality. They were either bad cuts or had been frozen and not fresh. I eat my steak very rare. The center of my steak had a greyish tint and the texture was a bit mealy. Certainly not worth the $36 I paid for the cut.
