All around awesome nice staff view was great a block away From the Ocean.. Only thing was our room could have been properly dusted.. But I loved it i enjoyed myself..
Stayed there last night. It was terrible to be frank. The staff at the front desk were very nice, however the rest of the staff were very rude. Being 8 1/2 months pregnant w/ a 2 year old, we got a room a the 1st floor (none located on ground floor). We checked in late and almost immediately went to bed but like any pregnant woman, i wanted ice. The only ice machines were in the parking lot. With 5 floors total and the amount of money being charged, i would think they could do better. Finally going to lay down after a long day i got under my covers to find my feet were getting dirty from sand being in my sheets:( i slept over the covers. In the morning we woke up and discovered the whole room had little pieces of glass everywhere. Was really glad my son hadnt cut his feet open!
The rooms are clean, pretty standard with a kitchen. The restaurant doesn't look like much but service was very friendly and the food was excellent (I highly recommend the french toast). Breakfast is served all day. The pool bar is good, my parents are fans of the lemon crush (fresh squeezed) and I had a solid virgin strawberry daquri here. Employees were friendly and helpful. Not the best location along the beach for surf, but less crowded than near the boardwalk.
They made us pay for both nights before we saw the room. Flies, Flies and more flies. Old food in the refrigerator, flies all over the place and an apathetic staff that did not care to empty old sour food from the refrigerator. No central air condition must have been out of the question. Say hello to loud window AC units in the walls. The bed was harder than cement and too small for two actual adults. Over 400 bucks for nothing. I'm never paying before I see the accommodations again. First and last visit. A refund would not wipe this experience from our memories.
Upon arrival we were pleased with the hotel. We got there early and they were great with getting us checked in. Several hours into being checked in....A BEDBUG!!! (Room 317) We took it down to the office, they were great about getting us moved, quickly, to another room. However, the room they put us in was a SMOKING room, 2 doors down from the one we just left. They just moved us from a NON-SMOKING room! We paid for 2 nights, but got absolutely NO sleep our 1st night in because of the bedbugs, that we just packed up and left asap the next morning with no refund! The staff was great, but we will not be going back to this hotel ever.
